Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.
