Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Heather hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult.
