History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Melissa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Galiena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Galiena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to prove his worth to the world
