Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theobald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
