History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trey. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Courier; and wants his loneliness to end

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
