History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a Engraver first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has worked as a Engraver like her mother before her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: Helen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Engraver business.

History: She got into the Engraver business at a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Avice reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
