History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Oriel has worked very hard to control her curse. During her travels, Oriel and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Oriel discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Oriel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
