History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Engraver. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Miles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'10" and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His brown hair is singed and shortened. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he loathes his own lifestyle
