History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
