Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Stableman who has hired him part-time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Knight. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
