Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He very much looks the part of a Miller. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miller business.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She is a mite stocky and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has no hair. Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed violet hat.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. After a long history of fighting, Joan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and regain custody of her son

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
