History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Arnold's homeland. Arnold decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Bounty Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
