During her travels, Hugolina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugolina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugolina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Jacoba hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
