History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.
