Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears red trousers with violet and yellow striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her white hair is heavily combed to the left. Her ears are large.
Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Joan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Joan was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: With yellow face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull brown iron scale mail. Her tied-back hair is red. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a green small hat and green clothes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. She wears an eyepatch.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and she wants revenge against orcs

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anselm's homeland. Anselm decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
