Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
