History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barrister. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the east
