History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emmeline's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Heather learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
