History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When Beatrice reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.
