Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heward does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Masseuse. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. She sports black long hair. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She struck the Merchant job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Fortune-teller again; and wants to open a new tavern
