History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
