History: William hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Eleanor is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Eleanor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Banker, but she got bored and became a Architect. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: An older man who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, he is not a threatening figure. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Alex will drive conversation. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When Alex reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
