Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. He has moderate length chestnut hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'1" and is wearing a long, white cloak. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Jocelyn was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear flannel. He has a very tight haircut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dustin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her white hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are likewise violet.
Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Anne was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
