History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but she was a colossal failure. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugolina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
