History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he has money and likes to spend it

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Cecily was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she feels kind of lost in life
