History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
