Personality: Richard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Juliana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
