In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her white hair is singed and shortened. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker violet hat.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Herleva took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Melissa was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Servant father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
