History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to work out more often
