She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
