Description: He is a mite stocky and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He wears his brown hair down. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Painter. John enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family
