Everard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Everard. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
