History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mary isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a Locksmith, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mary was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
