History: Henry was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
