Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Don's homeland. Don decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To pay off her debts.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Isabella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Isabella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Isabella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
