History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Adam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
