Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a black vest and prefers yellow and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Spy born in the past three hundred years. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Helen was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Vicky lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
