History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Roland was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
