His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Banker for the past few years.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
