History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He struck the Ploughman job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born in the west to a Shepherd, Egelina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.
