History: She was born into a rich family. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls.
