History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Guard. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her red hair is cut short. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering his clean studded leather. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He takes great joy in being the best Barber in town.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Conrad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Conrad. He has worked as a Barber like his father before him.
