He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has taken up work as a Scribe and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
