Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Oriel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. She struck the Shoemaker job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: Emmeline speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wants to raise her children well
