History: Born to a Roofer, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Rolf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
