History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Barkeep, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. She has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.
