She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Oriel will drive conversation. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
