History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Maynild was born the youngest of three triplets. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theodoric grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Conrad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
