Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in the east to a Mayor, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
