The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Anselm took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahlyssa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Carpenter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Ahlyssa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ahlyssa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
